Author Topic: what the heck, computer  (Read 718 times)

well i opened my computer up to get ready to swap my graphics cards and i forgot to plug the old ones back in after i decided "i'll wait until it gets here"

the computer made a loud angry beeping noise when i plugged it in and i figured out why and fixed it

then my computer failed to POST when i started it up, the first time I just continued and nothing seemed to be wrong, in fact it seemed to run better than before.

the second time i went to setup, did nothing, exited discarding changes, started up again an hour or so later.

the computer started up normally

My computer must really have wanted me to go to setup or it just prefers the number two over the number one.

If you were using the integrated chipset, it could have beeped to indicate new video hardware.
That or it somehow recovered from ESD.

It beeped because I didn't plug the connectors back into the GPUs.

I didn't swap any cards since I don't have one yet because I didn't know they delayed it because of Easter.

That was the only problem apparently :cookieMonster:
