Herro guys. Today I'm about to make a project with what little time I have this spring break to bring you a total re-doing of the voices in portal 1.
This project shall be simple. and it's going to involve, YOU!
Here's how it's going to happen. You guys, (and maybe a little bit of me), are going to revoice all of the voice script for portal. This is going to be intended as a joke sound mod so I require your most awful/humorous/over-done acting. I require that participants post a download link from mediafire or another free hoster if available to you. If the file is small enough please use the additional options button and attach the file there.
Voice files MUST be in a .wav format
There is only ONE party escort file which is what the Robot says at the end of the game. I will only be choosing the best so try your hardest.
Re-voicing rules: You don't have to follow the script exactly, like if it says "Welcome to the enrichment center" or whatnot, you can say "Cow go cluck cluck, Chicken go Moo".
Keep it as clean as possible this is going to be a friendly sound mod.
Try not to make your revoice too long or I will not put it in. To long would be over 30 seconds. (some of Glados' script requires an amount over that. It's ok as long as it corresponds with Glados' speech time.)
Try and be witty.
Have fun trying.
Try to over do it.
You can modify your voice file if you like to make it sound Robotic or Portal-ish. Try not to add any Ear-raping effects though.

If you sound like a kid, (Which I know a lot of you do,) try to modify your speech patterns by using a sound editing program.
A good program is
AUDACITY which is a easy to use program.
Or you can apply as a turret
(To look at the sound files yourselves, download GCF scape and look in the portal content GCF found in your steamapps folder.)
After all sounds are acquired, I will run a little contest for the Beta-testers. If you badger me early for a beta test then you will be ignored and virtually removed from the project.
