Author Topic: Driving School  (Read 913 times)

I was supposed to start driving school tomorrow, but there weren't enough people for the class so I'm starting in May into June :D

Any tips from people here who drive already? I'm pretty excited to not have to bike EVERYWHERE. But I'll still be biking.

Outside of the school at some point I'll be learning to drive a manual stick-shift because we have one and I need to know how to drive that. Should be fun!

I'm too lazy to get my permit

I got my permit back in february lol.

Now I only need like fourty-five million more hours with my parents.

When's your birthday anyways?

Just stay calm, don't cramp up. Take a deep breath before you start driving if you're nervous. If you ever feel like you can't process all the incoming information, just drive more slowly. You don't have to drive exactly the speed limit, you know :P

I never want to get my drivers license.
metro ftw

I've driven already, it's not stressing to me whatsoever. I just take it slow. I'm good at copying the way I've seen things done for so many years from the backseat, so I'm already pretty good. It's just state law to go through a school for it. Thanks though!

I find relying on others timing makes me feel like I'm not in control, and I like to be in control. It's also a very good idea to just have a license in a situation in which you might need to drive. I felt that same way as you for a little while, which is why I just turned 16 and don't have my permit yet, but you'll see what I mean. Even if you're already older.

Oh god I laughed so hard
December 18th
You and my bro share same b-day.

Lucky bastard.
I have to do mine at home. Which means I have to read a huge book and take a test on all of it.
All you have to do is go to a class and then take a test :l

Funny how this topic is right next to a topic that says "forget School"  (at the moment this is typed.)
