I was at my grandparents house today. My grandmother wanted to drop some food off before we went shopping.

In that house there are several gallery of pictures. I've always found photo montages kind of pointless considering nobody ever looks at them twice, but I decided to stop and take a second to look at the childhood footage of mother, aunt, and uncle.

Some of you already know this, but I have an odd attraction to tomboys. Basically, athletic girls or girls lacking a lot of feminine distinction. I get a lot of heat for this, but whatever, can't control it.

What disturbed me is that, upon looking at the all the pictures on the wall, did I notice my mother did a lot of softball as a kid.

The only thing I could say is: "Oh, mother forgeter."

I wouldn't say his theory applies to everyone then.  I certainly don't look at my mom like that because she's kind of my mother.

I don't even like my mother. I think she's a sociopath. However, I kind of hold women to her standards. I kind of like the strong, independent female that isn't damaged or needy or whatever. I don't know how to take care of the sick and emotional. I kind of want them to stand on their own two feet. And when I see my mother in a state of panic or emotional distress I get pissed off with her, like a "grow the forget up already you're 40 years old stop acting like a tween."
