Author Topic: School, I am dissapoint  (Read 859 times)

We had to do a utopian society city project in school, and it was hilariously easy. When I presented it, though, I made several blatant references that NO ONE in my school got, except one of them who owns steam and stuff. Here are some.

-My society was called, "New New York", an obvious reference to Futurama, along with a picture of it, which you can look at, here.

-I named our currency Nuka Cola caps, along with a picture of it, a reference to the Fallout series.

-For our transportation I put a picture of a Half Life 2 razor train.

-For our jobs, I put a picture of the TF2 engineer, no one got it.

-I put a picture of the A-10 Thunderbolt, and everyone moaned and said I got that from Call of Duty. What the hell? I don't even think it was in call of duty!

I would have recognized everything and then groaned at his lame presentation.

I would have recognized everything and then groaned at his lame presentation.

It wasn't the greatest, but for the record it was one of the best in my class.

The others looked like someone dipped their hand in stuff and smeared it all over the project.

Although, one of them based their society on an overused meme, double rainbow.

Can we see a picture of the actual project?

I don't have my flash drive readily available right now. Mind you, it was a powerpoint, and from what I understand you guys hate powerpoints. I will retrieve it from school today.

When am I not disappointed with my school.

I've got an ancient art teacher who should've retired years ago, apparently he was still thought of as old when my 32 year old uncle had him.
He keeps thinking he hears people say stuff about him.
It was the end of the lesson, we'd all packed away and we were just milling about waiting for the bell to go.
I noticed a few friends of mine were hanging about next to the door which was near to their table, so I slowly started walking over to them. On my way there though, this teacher turns round, and yells at the boys to stop being so childish, though they all just looked confused and I could see they hadn't been doing anything.
The teacher turned back around, and they started heading towards me, none of us saying anything, when he suddenly turns back around again, looks at me and says, that's it, all of you can stay behind after the bell.

I swear he hears voices in his head.

My school will pick up on any internet sayings I say and think they are the stuff. Then they'll start using it 24/7.

Once I used the word "smexy" and they were like "wat" and I said it again. Later everyone is loving saying it.

Wtf?

I hate how people in my school think i'm a nerd, because i'm good with computers and play video games.

I am not disappointed at all with my school.

A nerd is somebody who obsesses over something.

By this definition, jocks are nerds too, but they get praise because they're hot/sports are cool.
