Oh yeah, one is green and the other one is blue.
Now seriously though, they're the same. Same friends everywhere, almost the same games, and same shop system.
have you even used either service?
I would tell you to google the differences but you're just going to find biased reviews from a fancigarette of either console :c
PSN was fine, just the one off bad thing happened. Xbox's services you pay for and they're are really bad to begin with.
agreeing with the first part. examples of how xbox service is bad?
Not to mention the amount of work around's to pirate games, PS3 is barely pirate-able.
you realize piracy is more or less the reason they removed otherOS right? I don't know where you got "barely pirate-able" from
Xbox has always been stuff in its service and its consoles. Microsoft: All of our xbox's will red ring, I know how to stop this, lets just remove the red ring and make it a dot and that'll solve all our problems.
first part is opinion. I think the service is just fine. I've only ever had one red ring - this was after playing a launch console for 4 years or so. They didn't just "make it a dot", obviously that would be really stupid, they actually tried to fix it.
Lets also charge our users just to use the network features of the console.
I'd rather pay $60 a year (which is nothing, why do people complain so much about this?) than get weeks of downtime and my personal info compromised lol
I'm sorry but Microsoft have always blown at development in the games/console area, nothing you can say could ever justify there stupid ways.
opinion again - I think they're doing fine. Kinect sure beats the hell out of the carrot-wand PS3 users have.
anyway. I think they're both fine consoles and fine services. they both have their ups and downs - and if PSN wasn't down right now I think this argument would be slightly more fair.
