To whom this may concern,
I have the Blender DTS Exporter but I have one problem. The DTS Exporter is a ZIP. File and on a topic in this forum section it says to put it in my BlenderFoundation/blender/scripts folder but when I open the extracted blender folder it says; Blender-2.57-windows32/2.57/Scripts then theres a bunch of folders within it. Which one do I put it into? Do I extract the files in the DTS Exporter or something. Sorry to ask alot of questions, Im kind of new to modeling.
I found this DTS Exporter on http://jsgreenawalt.com/Blender-DTS-Exporter/download.html

there might be an install script in that extracted folder... try looking

The exporter only works for 2.49.

Ok, I found the install script but when I open it were do I install the extracted files to?

i finally fixed my problem!, anyway you must save the DTSPython and all the other things in the exporter into the scripts folder for blender
it may not let you extract it to there so you will have to extract it somewhere else then move it to that folder

Into the "scripts" Folder or into another folder IN the scripts folder? Theres like 3 more folders in the scripts folder that says; Addons, modules, presets, startup, and templates. Which one do I put it in or just leave in in the scripts.

anyone NOT using 2.49 should be
also, just into the scripts folder not in a folder inside scripts

Actually anyone using Blender 2.49b should abandon it this instant and start using the far FAR superior Blender 2.5 and ONLY use 2.49 for exporting. It makes your life unimaginably easier.

How so? Is that why my models won't export correctly usually? I model them in an old Blender.

no 2.49b is what you use for exporting
i dont use 2.5 coz all the controls and stuff are moved around and im too fking lazy to learn it

Modeling in 2.49 is technically fine. 2.5 just has far better interface and more tools.

2.5 has far superior and easier interface compared to 2.49.

Too lazy to move things around?

if it doesn't work in 2.57, is there any other way to throw it into Blockland?
