Author Topic: Stupid people overruling RP's  (Read 1636 times)

I go to an RP expecting people to have built houses, walking around, just plain talking or RP'ing. I find noobs in Santa Mechs and others playing with rocket launchers in mini-games and its just ruining everything. I cant plant one brick without hearing a gun shot. I know some people just ignore it, I do but it just pisses me off that they don't get the whole reason of an RP. I mean, if they were in MY server, I disable that stuff and ban them if they don't follow rules.

Solution: Don't go to RP servers. :/

I actually like them when there isn't anything else to do. So now what?

Join another server, play another game, try hosting your own RP server, the possibilities are endless.

Actually, this isn't a solution. You're not going to fix the issue by never actually confronting it in the first place, are you?

Look, you dont get the point. Like earlier I found a Space RP and it was the only one. That was what I was focused on, when I found noobs in there I got pissed and left. Im still focused on a Space RP and everything else would bored me out if I dont find a legit Space RP. When I host servers my ping is always --- (Even though it works) so people don't usually join.

Not if the issue is the scenario to begin with.

RP's are handicapped in general. I mean role playing is fine and all but when it comes to Blockland it's repetitive and filled with morons. Unless if anyone is as manipulating as Riddler than exterminating the "non-perfect" portion of the Blockland community could be extremely difficult.

Forward your ports, the no Blockland ports thing isn't a 100% fool proof. That's why mine are still forwarded even after the update.

So why are all roleplay servers handicapped if the only issue you can make out is just some power-hungry admins and people who can't play it right?

Do you actually play at roleplay servers enough to form an opinion that isn't biased or untrue?

I haven't touched an RP server in ages but I recall being an admin for one when I was much younger. The admins were generally nice, that wasn't the problem.

It was the fact that nearly every five seconds someone was blowing stuff up or abusing some feature of RP.

My serve works, and ive tried port-forwarding, like really. Ive tried all of these different steps, wont work.

I don't know what your talking about (Really.) But if its in Badspots guide, Port-forward webiste guide. Then yes I have done it.

If you don't know what a static IP is then you "supposedly" following Badspot's guide was probably followed INCORRECTLY.
