Author Topic: Catholic school or half-time school thingy  (Read 4017 times)

So as some of you may know I have been home from school for months now and I'm searching for a new school for next year. I'm still trying to choose between two systems of "schools" but I'm not sure which one would be better.

I could go to a nearby Catholic school, with strict rules (I don't mind them, it's better imo) and probably more people with a good mentality. Or I could go to this "half-time job, half-time school" thingy where you get to do a job for 4 days and 1 day of actual school. Everything would be the same after I graduate though, I'd get a diploma and all that.

I'd like to choose the latter because I think it's fun to actually do something and I also think you get paid for it. But on the other hand, I like learning too but I can't do the stuff I want to do because our school system is pretty stuffty.

aaah

i would go for the job thing, not only because don't believe in god, but because i would rather accomplish something other than do something redundant.

I already see myself sitting there reading the bible ;___;

I hope this doesn't offend anyone who is Catholic, but praying the Rosary is sooooooooooooo boring. Just hope that school doesn't do Stations of the cross, or do the Rosary.

I'd choose pretty much anything other than catholic school.

I go to Catholic school, but I live in America, not the Netherlands, so it's probably way different

Hmm I don't know if they go that far lol

They will

I'd choose pretty much anything other than catholic school.

Why would you say that? Even if they shove a bunch of bullstuff down your throat it's a wonderful experience academically. My Catholic School has pushed me and I'm very grateful. It's also fun to debate the religion teacher lololol.

But if your leaning toward education, go with the Catholic school. If you want to join the workforce, go with the latter. Also, there probably aren't any nuns with rulers there so it should be semi-decent.

Automation all labor would be nice because that would free human beings to learn and create. We could do 75% automation today but the rest will require time. :c

I went to catholic school, lulz ensued. The uniforms, at least in America, are not bad at all, and catholic schools push you harder to succeed, boosting your chances of getting a better job later, which means more moneys.

The latter. You'd enjoy work, get to meet people interested in similar things, and you'd finally get forgeted and stop whoring for attention online.

Catholics don't have love.

Eh do Catholic School.
