Author Topic: Ocean Side House Thing.  (Read 1267 times)

A Sunday morning, and I was bored as usual, so I decided to make another house.
The exterior isn't the best as I already know, I am not good at them.
Don't mind the images, I didn't feel like putting up a DOF.

More pics.

I totally see an ocean.

I totally see an ocean.

You can see it's built on a cliff, although a picture of the house looking out to the ocean would be nice.

As for the build: The color scheming is a little off in parts, like in the bedroom. The room should not be entirely two shades of red. The exterior is boring, and the entire build looks like a simple box. Instead of using the default windows, try making your own windows with ramps, arches, and stuff like that. Be creative. And add some texture to the wall, like an overhang over the front door where the little porch is. Maybe indent part of the wall one brick to give texture some.

Overall, you should add more so it's not just a box. The interior coloring is okay, though the bedroom as mentioned is off and the floor in the room just off the staircase looks just awful. Too random.

The exterior is way too boxy, and the interior's too empty.

For T.v. buttons, Try just using one button and use Toggle Event Enabled. Very Simple.

OnActivate/Self/SetColor/Red Unchecked
OnActivate/TvBrick/SetColorFx/Rainbow Unchecked
OnActivate/Self/SetColor/Green Checked
OnActivate/TvBrick/SetColorFx/None Checked
OnActivate/Self/ToggleEventEnabled 0 1 2 3 Checked

I know the events, but I kind of like the 2 buttons better, don't ask.. :3
The exterior was meant to be boxy, and the interior furniture was kind of rushed.
Also, sorry about not being able to see the ocean, its on a cliff.

Thanks for the feedback, always looking for ways to improve.

Ohai Cookie. Lern 2 img tag though.
Nice job finishing the house.

Lot's of detail on that ocean you got ther.

:3 I'll load a pic of the ocean soon enough.
Its RTB island by the way, so you can get an idea of the ocean by yourselves.
