That's the point.
They put these obviously manipulated pictures up on the Internet and claim that almost nobody can tell that they're fake. The dumbasses are just smart enough to realize that it's shopped (nobody can't) and think "Garsh, I must be smarter than 97.7% of people! Let me prove it." -- They click on the link, do all the stupid loving survies, and get viruses that sell all of their personal information to Chinese spam shops.
