Blockland, worth it?

Hey there, people. So, as some of you know, I've been on the Off-topic forums lately. And only the Off-Topic, as I haven't bought Blockland yet (Not enough PayPal money, and don't know whether it is good.)

So, before I ever buy the game, I want YOUR opinion of it, to see if the game will be fun. Please answer these questions seriously:

Will this game be fun, or boring? I've seen very games with, good graphics, that just bore me to death after an hour or so of gameplay, and I hate it when I spend my money like that (hence I rent my games now before buying.)

Will it keep me involved? I hate it when a game, after its storyline, is just a piece of stuff. I know Blockland is multiplayer, but, if I find all the servers the same, I will kill.

Is there much to do? I want a game, in where you can do anything, not just some presets.

Will it keep me attracted from something else (i.e the PS3) Or will it just be something that I will forget?

Is the community in-game immature? I'm perfectly fine with cursing, maybe a bit of snakees here and there. But, I don't want to go into a game, seeing people building  perverted structures of loveual orientation.

What do you feel about the game?

Finally, do you think the money is worth the game?

There are a lot of Role-Playing and free-building servers, stay away from family RPs and people who have halo or sonic in there name's servers.

Is there much to do? I want a game, in where you can do anything, not just some presets. There is a lot to build and do if you have an imagination, and you can use add-ons if you don't.

Will it keep me attracted from something else (i.e the PS3) Or will it just be something that I will forget? Depends on what you prefer

It will be fun, and with the overload of mods and addons, you will never get bored. There is so many things to do. However, you cannot be lazy, as building is obviously a key aspect.


Will it keep me involved? I hate it when a game, after its storyline, is just a piece of stuff. I know Blockland is multiplayer, but, if I find all the servers the same, I will kill.
There are so many damn RP's and stupid stuff like that, but there are also many good servers made by our blockland veterans (that still play), as well as a never ending supply of deathmatches and freebuilds.

Oh boy, YES. There is a LOT to do. Take it from me, in August, it will be my 4th year playing this game still. You can do basically anything, and having endless supplies of mods at your disposal just makes it easier to do what you want.

It should keep you attracted, but I'm not sure about it making you never want to play PS3 again or something. That's stupid. I play PS3 and Xbox360 as well as other PC games, too. You certainly won't forget it, though.

There is a mix of immature and mature, however, EVERY game has it's immature people. Very rarely is there some community that is 100% mature, helps everyone, etc. etc. and plays a game like this. Actually, I have not seen snakees in a long time lol. People do curse, yet there is a filter for it too. 95% of the time you join a server, if they are actually building that is, there will be actual builds, not stupid stuff like snakees and vaginas.


What do you feel about the game?
I personally love the game. It's kept me entertained for years, and I'm still making friends on it. New mods are being made every day, and I personally find it very hard to get dull and boring, so long as you are willing to actually play and build.


Finally, do you think the money is worth the game?
Absolutely. $20 for a lifetime, taking into account some "other" games that charge memberships monthly/yearly.

I know Blockland is multiplayer, but, if I find all the servers the same, I will kill. -Many of the servers have different builds. But they all have the same kinds of genre. TDM's and Family RP's are the main ones. Family RP's suck though.

There are some servers that do what you don't want it to do. Stay away from love/family rps if you don't wanna see it.
