 The game is great.
This might be of your interest.
This too.

Lol why would you even ask this, you're on the >>Blockland<< forums, the obvious answer you're going to get is yes.

Blockland, worth it?

Its probably one of the best things you can buy with $20.

Nice avatar by Alex Gray.

I got blockland because building is awesome.
I continued playing because eventing and minigames are awesome.
I stopped played for a bit because I got addicted to steam games like l4d and tf2.
I came back because no game made by valve can have the possibilities and diversity of blockland.
When I learned to code, I played because of the modability, and truly now the possibilities are endless.

I have been playing for three and a half years now.  How many games out there can keep a player hooked for that long?

Yeah, now I just need the money for it. :/

Well, I played the demo, and it isn't that fun. More support?

The demo, IS NOT the same. you skipped half of what they said was its good points. You can't build as much, no online, and it is only a 1 time payment.

Hey there, people. So, as some of you know, I've been on the Off-topic forums lately. And only the Off-Topic, as I haven't bought Blockland yet (Not enough PayPal money, and don't know whether it is good.)

So, before I ever buy the game, I want YOUR opinion of it, to see if the game will be fun. Please answer these questions seriously:

Will this game be fun, or boring? I've seen very games with, good graphics, that just bore me to death after an hour or so of gameplay, and I hate it when I spend my money like that (hence I rent my games now before buying.)
depends on what you enjoy doing. blockland has some exceedingly mediocre combat and vehicle physics so don't expect exciting races or in depth combat

Will it keep me involved? I hate it when a game, after its storyline, is just a piece of stuff. I know Blockland is multiplayer, but, if I find all the servers the same, I will kill.
you'll see a ton of "____ roleplay" servers which are basically deathmatch where you get banned for being too good

Is there much to do? I want a game, in where you can do anything, not just some presets.
there's not that much to do in the plain game, but mods give it more variety

Will it keep me attracted from something else (i.e the PS3) Or will it just be something that I will forget?

Is the community in-game immature? I'm perfectly fine with cursing, maybe a bit of snakees here and there. But, I don't want to go into a game, seeing people building  perverted structures of loveual orientation.
i rarely see that, just mostly a ton of idiotic ten year old kids with admin powers

What do you feel about the game?
good game, idiotic community

Finally, do you think the money is worth the game?
in comparison to some other sandbox games i have, not really, no. but on its own yes

Please answer these questions normally.
More might come.

you may want to consider getting the "garry's mod + counter-strike:source pack" on steam. garry's mod is like blockland but you build with physical objects. it sucks for static structures (which blockland is great for) but you can build giant mobile vehicles and the like. needs a much better PC than blockland, however, and it has a higher learning curve (especially if you get mods for it)

more than worth a one time payment of 20 bucks

I've yet to understand why people ask this question on a forum made specifically for the game.

Excuse me, good sir.

The game is worth every buck of its price. If you actually want to build, it's fun. It's not shielded from kids, but I didn't see any immature b/s in a long time.

I want to see how people feel about the game after experiencing it themselves.
