Author Topic: My computer is broken. (Corrupted fonts?)  (Read 1359 times)

It started off as a Team Fortress 2 problem, where I couldn't move, and my words were replaced with numbers. I couldn't do anything.
Then it happened in Tinychat. The nickname I chose and the words I typed only came out as numbers.
An example: 01 2345 678 9 8205 475
Then, I remembered that my Blockland had a problem, so I reinstalled it. When I attempted to put in my key, it only came out as 89856.
This is getting annoying. Maybe it's the fact that I got this computer off of eBay. I had no choice really, since it was out of stock in stores.

Although, it appears that I can type normally on my browser, and on my desktop.

Corrupted fonts?

If this is true, you cant really fix that.

Unless somebody knows a way.

Corrupted fonts?
I thought corrupted fonts also break browsers?
Also, I'll mention that this wasn't happening 3 days ago.

Just to be safe, run a virus scanner, I know, sounds stupid, but it would be good to run one just to be safe.

Might want to check if any fancy Window feature is enabled. (For example, When I press alt+shift I start typing кгыышфт срфкфсеукы)

That's what I'm trying to figure out now.

Okay, some news: It has nothing to do with the NumLock key.

Corrupted fonts would of screwed the browser too.

I would say back up all of your important stuff and reinstall windows. But try changing keyboards first.
