Author Topic: Paint.net question. Lines and stuff.  (Read 815 times)

In Paint.net is it possible to make it so the lines you make don't blend in with its background? So I don't get those ugly pixels when I recolor something. I know I can just do it manually but I don't really feel like having to do it all the time.

Are you using layers?

I do sometimes. Why? Does it matter.

If you use layers, you can use the hue+saturation tool to change the colour.

You could try turning off anti-aliasing when you make the lines, if I understand you correctly.

If you have a layer below the layer with the lines, you can use the brush tool to color in stuff

Or the way i do it is i use the magic wand tool with 0 tolerance and i select the outline (i usually have it set to 3 pixels), once it's selected, i invert the selection (Ctrl + I) and on a layer below the one with the line, i use the paint bucket and fill in the area inside the line
