Don't use his service if you don't feel it's fair. I can't simplify this in any other way.

Simple Host Server Co.

My email: kukla.joey@simplehostservers.com

I am Joseph Kukla, the President of Simple Host Server Company. As I was looking to expand I wanted to add more games that we could host for, I thought about Blockland, as I know some people have issues with hosting, after seeing this topic I am extremely interested in giving all of you a quality host, for less. First of all, let's get some things straight.

  • Our servers are in the United States
  • We will be charging somewhere between $3.99 /mo to $5.99 /mo (Maybe even cheaper), however it is uncertain, it will be disclosed when we start hosting.
  • We do not have quad-core servers, however most our servers have two Intel Xeon processors.
  • We own our servers, they are not rented from anywhere
  • All of our servers are Dell PowerEdges of various models
  • Our servers run Linux.

If you have any questions, please visit our Live Chat (Link on top of post) or email me (Email at top of post).

Additonally, you can reply to this topic, but your quetsions will get answered much quicker if you email me or do a live chat session.

Alright, I was trying to give you a solution, but I'll move my topic elsewhere.

1. What exactly do you mean by seam weak?
2. The network speed is changing within the next couple days, as we bring new games such as Brink and Blockland, we are getting a new, faster service.
3. Ok, sorry about that.

I was looking at your minecraft packages.

The best one is 1 GB of RAM, and that alone isn't even good enough to host Minecraft.

You will not find something break-even or profitable at that price

  • We own our servers, they are not rented from anywhere
Ok, then why is the server you own hosted by a bigger company that is about entrepreneurship?

  • Our servers run Linux.
You're screwed

We offer larger packages, however even the 256MB package works great for 2-3 players, it really depends what you need it for. I've never had a customer who needed more than 1GB of RAM.

You mean people have actually payed for those servers? :cookieMonster:

I've hosted on a home computer and had performance issues with only 3-4 active players on 512 MB RAM.

1. There is a lot of profit in it, aslong as you already have the resources (which we do)
2. My server is not hosted by them or owner by them, infact I never heard of them.
3. How am I screwed because I run Linux?

The home computer is where it fails, if you would like to I can give you the IP address of a 256MB server.
