cant plant bricks

i have bricks in the brick selector but when i press 1, it says i dont have any.
Do i have a bad add on or something? how can i fix this?

After selecting it, do you press done? Don't press escape/x, click done. Also, for quick use that doesnt add it to your toolbar, right click the brick in the brick selector and it will auto-become your ghost brick.

try rolling the mouse button to select from your brick palate.

then try resetting your key mappings for the game.

People with Laptops set up blockland wrong all the time, First, If you have a laptop, Try to figure out if that's what happened. Second, Try Remapping your controls

The fact that he's getting the warning indicates the keys are mapped fine. Can you plant bricks by right clicking the brick in the inventory?

You're probably playing the demo and you've hit the brick limit. To make new stuff you need to pay $20 to Badspot for a copy of the full game.
