Those chemicals are not harmful, or you wouldn't be allowed to eat them. They are made to make is safer for you. As for the pesticides, they are not good at all, but most food is grown without them now. And GMO's? They are made that way, their genetics are modified. They don't just add a miracle chemical and BOOM. No. They have to change the genetics. When they are born, or when they sprout, or whatever, they are like that. They are just as bad for you as eating a cow. (Minus, maybe, the guilt...)
