Author Topic: The word "friend".  (Read 9311 times)

You still indirectly insult gays and label anyone you dislike as a representation of homoloveuality.

This is coming from someone who is not pro-gay rights (me) by the way.
BTW I am bi and I have no problem with the word as long as it is not being directed as an insult against gays.
(It's okay to call a gay a friend not to call him a friend because he is gay.)

I was asking him a question.

friend means bundle of sticks. :cookieMonster:

ITT people say friend and Daedalus is gay.

friend=bundle of sticks
friend used as=gay slur
friend used as=insult

stop being such a butthurt pusillanimous individual and deal with the fact that words evolve. if a gay person is offended let them be offended, no one gives a stuff anyway. if freddie becomes a word that insults people i won't get insulted unless people are using it against me. jesus, what is is with people and their sensitivity, i remember when kids used to beat the stuff out of each other because of a ruler. now kids are all "awww, that's not politicly correct, waaaaahhhh!" grow the forget up.
