Check to see if your router has the DNS servers set to automatic or if they are set to something static on the router if they are static write down those #s and try to set it to automatic. Are you able to get a connection on computers without a static ip in your home.

ipconfig /all does not show ant DNS servers, only my default gateway.

If I turn off get ISP default DNS in router settings then back on, it turns into 0.0.0.0 for both.

The DNS servers are not the default gateways on the router, those for some reason don't work though.

Okay.

Any setting changed means automatic router meltdown.

Disconnection, stops responding, anything that has to do with IP or DNS gets set to 0.0.0.0 or something similar if that's what was changed.

Did a factory reset. Still seems to be doing the same thing... I'll wait until I try the setup.

edit: seems to be working...
