Author Topic: I have solved alcoholism/potheads/chain smokers in one elegant move.  (Read 1830 times)

Please let me know when this goes into effect so I can move to Detroit and buy a bunch of trucks with false bottoms. I have a great idea.

it's just whenever there's someone talking bad about drugs you come in and eat them c:

Lolno

1 thread =/= every single time the word "drug" is mentioned.

I don't eat them, I tell them they should stop listening to stereotypes and learn about the substance first, then I will be all ears to what you have to say. Otherwise, most of your info is just a defensive statement about how drugs (I only really talk about Marijuana that is) is absolutely terrible for society.

Also, the OP has a good argument, people should be able to grow their own on their property and be able to consume it as they wish.

I'd like to eat your candy corn horns though

I see what you mean OP but are you saying drugs should be legal if we grew/made them ourselves? The only reason I don't ever go out to get weed or something else illegal is because well, it's illegal. I have a life to live and I want to enjoy it the best way possible without a criminal record.

The main point I'm getting at is: Why give everyone the reason to possibly be arseholes? (I have no idea what I'd be like if I took weed, I've never tried it, I could be a twat for all I know.)

And I know you said there would still be laws against it in public, but there would be a higher access to drugs and when I go out and buy alcohol, I'd rather drink outside rather than stay in all day.

Just my opinions, if you think I've completely missed the point you were getting at let me know. xD

Bomb-shelter #1 ready, sir

The way to solve the problem is via education, not propaganda.
Don't let the tobacco and alcohol industry put any money into this, because all they want is to make a distinction between THEIR drugs and other drugs, trying to make their drugs look fine.

If pot was legalized then the use of harder drugs would go down, it's not pot that leads to the use of other harder drugs it's the black market it's in which leads to more use of hard drugs.

Mind you, in australia, all tobacco products will be the same drab olive-brown colour, removing all branding and such, if the law is passed, making them indistinguishable visually.

This is an annoying truth because happens whenever the governing bodies ban anything people use to escape their horrible, dreary lives with. Look at the prohibition of alcohol during the early 20th century, as soon as it was pushed underground, lots of not-so-nice people were making a killing off it.

Have you ever had homebrewed alcohol? Most of it is worse than the crap commercial brands. Making these substances illegal to buy doesn't fix addiction problems. It only causes this
