as much as i fancy a thread about communism and utopia this is not the place, love.

It can exist, we just need to probe human instincts and change what makes us slaves to our hormones.

You can tell when you're getting to him when he drops all the grammar out of his posts.
it's funny because it's generally the opposite with me. :cookieMonster:

True.

But when Iban loses his grammar it means he's trying to seem all calm and relaxed, attempting cover up the fact that he's mad.

Or we don't, and suppress those that would rather an efficient species devoid of emotion like we have and always will.

You know, you can see the effects of utopia all around us. People today don't know a real evil, we don't have a Riddler looking to conquer the world and force us into a fascist regime, we don't have a Soviet Union threatening the world with nuclear war, we don't have angry tribes of natives raiding our villages and killing our children.

We have oppression and terrorism occurring in the middle east, that people couldn't give less of a stuff about until 9/11, and that caused a huge stir in the American people who then started to demonize Muslims, but since that was quickly deemed to be politically incorrect, we start to look at schoolyard bullies and violence in video games as the next big evil thing. Until something threatening enough for people to rally against, be it an invasion by aliens or the Chinese, we'll continue to take sides and argue on stupid issues that are far less evil than people make them about to be.

Let's look at some of the things that tons of people completely flip their stuff over:

  • Racial humor
  • Violent Video Games
  • research
  • Marijuana
  • Abortion
  • Obesity
  • Saying something is "gay"

Just a thought.

Oh dammit how did I miss Stockings post.

I find it unbearably irritating when people actually resort to using this as a scapegoat to when their kids turn into Chris Brown, and start being a menace.

realization: both iban and stocking are prone to rage filled unnecessary walls of text.

How is that a rage-filled wall of text?

well pretty much every other thing out of your keyboard is rage filled, and it's relatively large compared to most "normal" posts, so there you go.

Maybe I'm a competent critic that types fast? You don't have to be angry to insult people.
