AVGN and Nostalgia Critic are actually buds, they made a short film togetehr. It's on AVGN's site.

Irate gamer is a douchebag copyer of AVGN.

we all know that, they did that fight thing to gain  publicity and because they like that sort of stuff.

i'm not sure if AVGN has a youtube partnership, i know nostalgia critic doesn't. they make their money off their own sites with merchandise and advertisements. avgn also does work for companies because he just likes making videos.

He works for SpikeTV making old reviews and stuff. I really tend to like his Spike reviews more because he's a great speaker, makes a lot of good points. I don't like AVGN as much because of the dumb insults he hurls and all the references to stuff and whatnot. It's not as engaging as an intellectual review like Plinkett.

yes, mostly i find them fun to watch and sometimes a laugh plan outright. the thing that i love most is how they always have interesting tidbits on the movie or game.

I seem to be the only one here who prefers The Nostalgia Critic to AVGN. Actually, I think it's more that I prefer Doug Walker in general.
This is somewhat odd, as I prefer video games to movies.

On a semi related note, I feel that thespoonyone, another member of thatguywiththeglasses.com, does a much better job at doing all the things that the angry video game nerd tries to do.
