I hear you can buy alot cheaper ones at www.ibuypower.com or www.cyberpowerpc.com and those cheaper ones should be better, last time i checked.

As I've said before: if you absolutely don't need a laptop, build/get a desktop PC.

It's more upgradable in the future, and is much more powerful than a laptop can ever be.

Before you all go "hurr Alienware sucks, just hear me out. I have an Alienware M11X, bought for ~$650. The base price is $600, and even that laptop is great, and at only 11" across, it's very small and light, and there is no difference in performance when running on batteries. I get ~50 fps on Crysis on medium settings, no AA. This laptop is great, and it is not just "a shiny Dell with pretty lights".
