I liked the block schedule. Why is it being changed? You don’t have to look very hard to find a number of newspaper stories and videos regarding the funding crCIA in Texas public schools. GCISD may lose anywhere from $5 million to $20 million in funding from the state in the coming biennium. The change to a traditional 7-period bell schedule will save the district between $1.2 million and $1.6 million. Those are savings our district simply must access.

I find it completely absurd and completely irresponsible of the government, be it state or federal, to cut any funding towards education.  I don't know if they understand it or not but education is absolutely crucial to the youth.

I think schools should fire their administration, and have a central manager and a few assistants to take care of the schools. I mean honestly, schools don't need 5+ just to run them, teachers are more important to the success of the business.

Since teachers are actually civil servants they could all be fired and replaced at an instant if they started pissing the government off too much. IMO they should just fire the lot.

foreveralone.png think about it, homeschool removes the best part of school. the socialization with people of your own age. unless everyone at your school is a handicapped richardwad then you should socialize with them.
