Author Topic: 6th Grade Dance  (Read 913 times)

Welp, we had it today, and it was pretty damn awesome. See, I have a really good friend named Jasmin so we decided to go with each other, so it was really fun going with a friend. My English teacher, Mrs, G Williams, is a professional at decorating, so she set up the whole dance. It was like a little play, type, thing. When we walked into the cafeteria, the DJ started playing K$SHA's song, Place About to Blow. Yeh, my buddies and I formed a Conga line and it was a whole buncha fun. I even won a worm contest!

Discuss fun dances you have had before.

how embarrassingly childish

My 6th grade class just had "Socials" because "Dances" were too "Mature". Lol I miss those days.

god, ours are worse. my friends drag me there everytime. there was supposed to be one last week but a student died. so it was cancelled.

I don't go to dances, and I have a few reasons why.

Nobody to go with.
I have two left feet.
Compact area with lots of sweaty kids.
Nobody to to with.
Music not suiting my taste.
Nobody to go with.

I think I get my point across, but at least it sounds like you had fun. I don't see why you'd have to dance in public with other judgemental people to have a good time.

Also 6th grade lol.

That's how I felt when I went to a 9th grade dance when they played the Pokemon theme song.

I felt like such a cigarette.

For sixth grade, yes. However, the older one gets the more fun it is to be childish, as long as one is not so immature all the time.

Was it casual or formal of some sort? Just curious as to if it was.

The 6th grade dance sucked balls.
All the dances at my school do. About 3 were canceled because no one bought tickets, and the 8th grade "Better than Prom"dance is probably gonna be canceled too.

When I used to have seventh grade dances, there would be a big line of girls right? Then they would all grind on each other.
