Author Topic: I have good speakers.  (Read 870 times)

They're made by Altec Lansing.
Specifically, these.
I was playing this a couple of minutes ago and a picture frame fell over.
My dad's speaker system for his TV can do a lot more than push over a picture frame, but for a computer speaker, I think it's pretty damn good.

I have these: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16836121002

No sub but still pretty good bass. Damn, I think its time for me to upgrade.

At some point I'm going to save up to get this.
Thank god they make the speakers sturdy, some of the stuff I listen to could surely break it otherwise.

I have a pair of $100 Altec Lansing speakers from 2005.

While the volume dial might be a bit finicky (every time you turn it, the speakers make a whole bunch of static sounds), they're still awesome speakers.

The larger speakers I linked to, that I don't have:
Holy stuff.
The midrange goes down to 2.5 kHz.
The subwoofer is loving ten inches. That's almost a god damned foot.
Monitor speakers ^_^
I can't stand monitor speakers.
Headphones are better than that bullstuff if you ask me.

Its just speakers... You don't need crisp clear speakers.

That's like telling me I don't need food.

My subwoofer is loving ridiculous, I bought it for my stereo but ended up using it with my computer instead. Its a klipsch 8", I need to get better speakers to match it but until then I'm happy

Thats stupid

If my father let me use his TV speakers for my computer, I would cry.

I got a new stereo when I got my new tv, but the receiver is stupid and I never got around to setting it up.

Thats the subwoofer I got it for like 50% off

Monitor speakers ^_^

I wouldn't even bother buying a monitor with built-in speakers. Last time I did, I ended up never using them. It just adds price to the monitor for something that I'll never use.

And that's why my current monitor doesn't have built-in speakers.

you are all small time

That bigass black thing is a speaker?

I see two speakers there.

Apparently bigger is better.
