I would be bored being an existentialist. I want to at least feel like I had some higher value as an individual if God did or did not exist according to Christianity. This may seem weak-minded or pitiful to most, but I don't want to live life without reason from a higher entity. This reason alone is why I am not atheist/agnostic nor will ever be.

Here comes the insults

I don't know where you got that logical list from blue, but none of that is sound logic.

Blockland: Religion Clash

Proof is the tool of science. Science is what has built us to what our race is today. So yes, pushing for proof is fair.
Our race wouldn't be here if it weren't for religion, true or not. If to weren't for any kind of religion, we would still be fighting over sticks lol.

And I don't think it is our job to debate wether the written proof of Jesus' existence can be trusted. Leave that the the scholars.

I don't have an uncle by such a name.
Oh but you do. Everyone is everyone!

The tattoo with crosses in Brink is pretty cool.

I didn't really do a good job describing the 5 proofs, since it was copy pasta from another site

We don't have a job or a purpose, we evolved on this planet for no reason, just like any other animal.

I'm not denying that religion was great for that period of time. That doesn't mean it's still as valid today.

Religion won't improve computing. Religion won't further our knowledge of medicine. That's what science is for.

All religion involves science.

Religion has benefited science before

That "really" explains why humans are 10x more smarter than animals such as monkeys. And why fire was created. Why television was created. Why medication was created. Why the computer was created.

Are you really trying to claim that religion is responsible for televisions, computers and medicine?

and fire wasn't "created", you dunce.

I see the relation of science to religion as a chainsaw is to a lumberjack: It can be a useful tool to conquer the world, but misusing it can result in severe injuries.

Something like that.

It doesn't always have to involve religion, but aspects of it where it tries to disprove religion should be the only things that Christians should see in a negative view.

Also, Pascal and Pasteur were Christian intellects/scientists.
