Author Topic: I've lost my Sims 2 disk. (FOUND)  (Read 10964 times)

I can't find it anywhere and I really want to play Sims 2. This is starting to piss me off.

I have other disks for the expansion packs but I can't find those either. I'm not going to use any No-CD patches or hacks.

But I'm so pissed because I can't play it.

What do.

get Sims 3.

I found some Sims 2 disks today while looking for my WoW install discs. Sims and WoW disks were all hairy and sticky :c wtf.

Cry because if you had good strong legs you could go to the store to buy another sims 2 disk

Keep looking for it, if you can't find it by the end of the day buy a new one.  Also check your computer's CD drive.

......seriously?
Yes.
get Sims 3.
Too expensive. And I already have all the expansion packs and stuff packs for Sims 2, Pets, Apartment Life, Open For Business, etc.

Already checked and I don't the money to buy another one. I already had to re-buy it once because the other disk broke.

I don't see how we can help you find it.
Do you keep it anywhere normal?
Anyone else who might have borrowed it, siblings, friends?

If you can't find it, can't buy another one, why don't you ask your friends if they have a copy that you could borrow.

I say this because, for some odd reason that I never understood, once my Sims 2 disc was installed on my computer and my brothers computer, it would play without the disc in.
I don't know if I had unknowingly fully installed it onto the computer or whatever, but for whatever bizarre reason, I could play the game while the disc wasn't in.

Might happen to you, if not, atleast you can maybe play it for a bit.

forget that stuff, reinstall makin' magic.

And remember, it's always in the first place you would never think to consider the last place you would have guessed.

You own steam. Why not just use steam to keep track of it

Did you ever get enough magic coins to buy one of the houses in the magic lands? I think i did once.

I think I did once.

But I played it so long ago that I was quite young and immature, I guess, so I stopped playing it after I lost my cat in that house.
Dunno why.
Apparantly that cat was the only important thing to me in my entire sims world.

So if it were on steam, does that mean I won't need the disk?

Enter in the serial key of the game and Steam will register that you own it. Then, you wont the disk.

Go download the game.

it's not illegal unless you use a Keygen.

Oh, thank you, Iban.

I'll lock this once I put the key in.
