Sucks, we had a fire drill on my social final. Guess what? They didnt care and they made us finish it in the same time we were supposed to take it.

There is a national guard base nearby my house.

From time to time a low flying Blackhawk or apache will fly by.

Then one time, I stuff you not, a loving Chinook flew over our house not even 150 feet above. Our house was shaking, my dog was going crazy, I nearly pissed myself. Then I looked outside and it was pretty bad ass.

Also, when Chicago hosts it's Air and Water Show annually, most every aircraft flies over our neighborhood to get to Lake Michigan. loving these starfishs flying over out of nowhere  

C-130's
B-1B lancers
F-16
Harrier
and most other jets as well. Prop planes too.

I mean, have you ever heard a Lancer, this thing


fly over your house.

I don't have jets n helicopters over my house but I get the occasional train in the distance stuff. In my basement I hear my parents yelling at my dogs because one is slippign around while his nails scrape the wooden floor. It's irritating and I always happens when I need to concentrate.

I loving hate noise, thats why i keep my ipod with me :D

i'd do anything to live near an Air force base, I'm in civil air patrol and were based at an air force base where the E-3 sentry's fly out of, also, they do maintenance on KC-135's and B-52's.

The other day a B-1 took off full afterburner, lovey as hell.
