using the enter key doesn't work!

whenever i try to plant a brick using the enter key on my windows XP laptop,it doesn't work!

3. Did you select the laptop control configuration when you first started the game? If not, you can re-configure it in the controls tab in the options. There should be a button that would let you re-select the configuration.

Which means that it's probably set to numpad enter.
And you probably don't have a numpad.

Agreed, and he isn't saying that you don't have a laptop, he is saying that you might have not chosen the laptop control configurations when setting up BL for the first time.
