You're an idiot.

Thanks, I'm glad we can have opinions now.

I was joking anyway.

Didn't look like it.

I never said you couldn't have opinions. It was a joke.

Hardcore is an actual genre. It shouldn't be used to apply to how heavy the music is.

Have some hardcore bands.

In turns of heaviness, I really dislike Black and Death Metal. stuff sucks bro. As long as you can wail and pick your guitar and beat drums real fast, it doesn't require actual talent. But I'm pretty into Drone, Post and Sludge metal.

who listens to rock anymore? 20-30 year olds?

I personally only listen to electronic and rap. I'm always like "ROCK? BWAHAHAHAH. WHO LISTENS TO THAT stuff ANYMORE?"

Metal =/= rock and isn't part of a scale.

A lot of people listen to rock. But there are WAY to many sub-genres now that most of the time people don't even know it. If it weren't for rock you wouldn't even have your Rap and Electronic genres.

I'm not too good the whole genre thing.

So this is just a scale. Or you could think of it as "what genre of rock do you like".

went to U2 concert last night

simply amazing

hardcore is a genre not a scale or whatever.
