Author Topic: Android phones? Valen might want one  (Read 1672 times)

Verizon's Palm Pre 2, I have it.

Everything about it is good in my opinion. (Except the loving battery life)
That runs WebOS, not Android...

Sorry, too tired, was showing what phone I had, not thinking. Also, idk about Android.

i direct ftp to my websites and forget files back and forth often.
i stream mp3s from my comp at home.
can open/create/edit any word, excel, or pdf file
flash for its many uses
most all research-tube like sites all stream just fine
proper multitasking, unlike apple devices.

way way way more free tools and games on the app store then Microsoft or apple

What phone do you use?

I love my evo.
I'm posting from it right now.

I personally have the Droid 2 Global (basically the same as the Droid 2, but with a GSM transmitter [SIM card] along with a CDMA transmitter and a faster processor, at 1.2 GHz compared to the 1 GHz found on the Droid 2), running a custom ROM called Fission 2.4.3.

Of course, if you want a phone you want to be able to modify entirely (kernel and all), don't go for Motorola, go for HTC or something.

Oh, and Android has Flash Player, which is really nice, and something iPhone users will never get.

Also have Droid 2 Global. lovey phone and it does what I want

Posting from Galaxy S i500 - Running 2.2 Froyo.
It's super fast especially when running opera browser. I could literally snap and this whole page would be loaded in that time.

I just got this Galaxy S on T-Mobile. :D

Sprint? Nexus S
Dont get EVO!

Switching to Verizon due to no 4G, or 3G. Just Edge.
What's the best Verizon phone I can get for 170 or under on a contract?.

get one you like I personally like how customizable the android phones are a little known fact, almost everything on my phone right now appearance wise is not default. If you download the gingerbread keyboard you will notice that, for a touch screen, it is really easy to type on because of the auto corrections and stuff, I'm typing from mine right now.
