I've had people say that I have a "lego special interest" that I like toys too much and that I want Blockland to be more like living toys rather than real life people from another universe. Well the reason for this is simple, I just had a much more creative childhood and interesting childhood. In my childhood I haven't played video games like CoD/l4d/halo/etc so I have no interest in wanting to even play that kind of stuff in my Blockland.
When I was a child
I've played video games like:
Army Men: 1, 2 and Toys in space.
Army Men: Sarge's Heroes 1 and 2.
Army Men: Air Attack
Toy Story
Lego Island
Lego Loco
LegoLand
Lego Chess
Twisted Metal: Small Brawl
I've watched movies like:
Toy Story
Toy Story 2
Small Soldiers (Still is my favorite movie and I recommend it.)
The Indian in the Cupboard
Honey I've Shrunk The Kids (No toys, but I like how the children are the size of a toy.)
I've had toys like:
Small Soldiers toys from the movie.
Transformers
Plastic army men complete with forts and a giant carrier plane
stuffloads of legos. Mostly pirates, medieval and city.
Fisher Price pirates and knights
Corps action figures
And many other various toys.
This isn't even a complete list.
Kids that only played sonic would want Blockland to be more like sonic. Kids that played halo would want Blockland to be more like Halo. I just want Blockland to be more like toys.
