Don't take this the wrong way, but I think you're going to quit the game pretty quickly if the only thing you're doing is being an industrialist

I kept stopping and starting playing eve until I quit my carebear ways and joined a nullsec corp. Now I'm 100% addicted.

I won't always be an industrialist. Sometimes I'll be on the prowl for Serpentis ships.

Oh yeah my alt im training to a tengu for Wormholes with joined a noob corp and they said they're going to fund it's first tengu. Haven't even told them my alt isn't actually a new player and that my main could do it without them.

Nah as usual one of their big updates had a bug in it. To do with POSes again. -.-

But it's back up now anyway.

eve servers cost a lot to run. they wouldn't just make it free. then they would have no income to run the servers, and there would be an influx of people who wanted to try it out or play but didn't have the money. the company would be bankrupt in days, they would be forced to lay off like everyone, along with the servers crashing once word got out.

yeah notch's "server" is just for the website and forums, stuff like that. being able to handle 50,000+ simultaneous players in a game like EVE is totally different. i cant remember if EVE's server is officially a supercomputer, but if not its still hella powerful.

Also they dont have a load of different 'dimensions' or stuff its one massive universe so the entire player base is on that one server.
