I feel ripped off. Statesman is a trademarked car over here, they shouldn't be able to steal that.

Holden Statesman.

LOL MUSTANGS.
mustangs allegedly don't handle as well as the camaro, but they are hardly the land arks that the late 60's mustangs were.

Lol clever.

I saw some guy driving his Malibu like a loving moron down Broadway the other day, I mean like flooring the stuff out of it down Broadway, going like 60 in a 30, and then turning a corner at like 30 almost fishtailing... I feel like mine is lucky to not be driven by douche.

In other news, work recently got one of these, I think:

I think we were looking for another since our Taurus died earlier this year and our truck isn't good for stuff in the winter apparently (believeable) which reminds me the odometer on that thing says it has over 900,000 miles lol. I don't know what year or anything the HHR is since nobody's gotten to drive it yet. Maybe soon.

Haven't gotten to drive the HHR yet and I think it'll be a while if I ever do, its the ultimate last resort lol.

Anyway, I went to Walmart and bought some belt dressing for my serpentine belt since it would occasionally make noise. It was $2.29 a can and I figured silence was worth the cost, so I got some and slapped it on. While letting my engine idle and applying some, it made and even louder noise that compares to rubbing two balloons together. It only lasted a few seconds until I got the whole belt with a bit of it before it was silent. Now it does it on random intervals, particularly when shifting into the next gear while accelerating. It doesn't do it while idling. I recently replaced both idler pulleys (my car is weird and has 2) and when we did I was told I had a great tensioner on it. There is no play in anything related to thee serpentine belt. My best guess is maybe its slipping or something, but what do I know, Im a wannabe car buff.

Any suggestions? I took a picture should it be necessary.

Ha, never mentioned car's been silent and oil-spot-free since then, it also somehow managed to gain oil again.

Anyway. I got to drive the HHR at work too, that thing is badass.

Also:

Caution driving safely in winter conditions = good mood.

Get pulled out in front of = bad mood, change lanes.

Caution + slick roads + slush + overcorrecting + median = launching rear of car off of median "ramp" and scraping and losing my sideskirt.

Drives fine but I am sad. It could have been a lot worse, I stopped spinning after completing a 180 and on the other side of Broadway. The rear of my car was literally less than a foot away from hitting a light pole and the traffic oncoming was at least smart enough to slow down when they saw me out of control. I was driving home freaked out and saw a truck that actually did hit a light pole in the median, the pole laying on the ground, the whole front of the truck caved in. I still feel incredibly lucky it wasn't worse.

stuff happens, I suppose.

Oh my god the ugliness.

These are also incredibly ugly.

Are you kidding? The Veloster is loving beautiful, and it's loaded the forget down with technology.

It even has a 200gb HDD on it lol

My moms getting a blue Mustang 1964 like this from my great grandma.
I'm so jelly.

chevrolet hhr is a terrible car. interior is useless (there's a single led for the lighting when you open the door, and there's no visibility).

i disagree entirely.
the veloster (and many other hyundai cars) are simply overdone imo - it's like the designers went crazy with the loft and fillet tools in their cad program, creating ridiculous hot wheels (not the good kind) looking monstrosities. the kia versions of hyundai cars all look much better to me, with a more restrained, technological look.

hyundais tend to have silly front ends and dat-ass rear ends.
