The people who arrested them did nothing wrong.
They kindly told them to stop, and they didn't, so they made them stop.
And then the other starfishs decided that they were going to do exactly what they were told not to.
So they got arrested.
I am debating going all the way to Washington just to dance.
You're debating being a dumbass.

Not to mention that the person who uploaded the video exaggerated what happened.
He wasn't "bodyslammed," or choked.

Dancers are a threat to national security

It's obvious he was signaling a terrorist dropship to send a nuke there by dancing

because he's a terrorist

The guy was body slammed and choked.

i didnt day homeless? hippies are almost never homeless. they are renowned for their leaching off others.

My bad, misinterpreted that. Yes you're right. I meant, only one of those guys looked like a hippie.

there are a ton of requirements to what freedom of expression is. you cant just be a richard and claim such protection and do whatever you want.
there was nothing wrong with these arrests.

I must say, this is one of the reasons the united states is so horrible today.
Yeah, the actions of one group of police represent the entirety of the entire USA. Yup.
The people who arrested them did nothing wrong.

You mean aside from not reading them their miranda rights (if they were being arrested), not telling them the statute or law/legal precedent that they were being arrested/detained for (which they CONTINUED to do), and then illegally assaulting and arresting people without cause? I mean ignore the fact that they are suppressing the freedom of speech, what those police did was downright illegal and hopefully they will be reprimanded or fired.

Those people are stupid, and I hate people like them.

They were being smart ass "go against the man" kind of people. They clearly had it coming when the cops arrested the couple, then everyone else started dancing as to instigate it even more

Your stupid stuffheaded opinion is loving irrelevant. It doesn't matter if you don't like demonstrators, that's not the loving point.

Leave it to blockland to piss and moan about small stuff like this.

The douche didn't stop when he was asked to by a federal officer, I see no problem here.

how do you know they werent read their rights? arrested means they were booked, rights may be read at any time before then.
they might not have even been arrested at all, but instead detained. (that wouldnt require rights)

the guy with the camera has nothing that happened afterward. but he enjoys spinning the issue to his cause.

Yes he was, there was no exaggeration.
The guy was body slammed and choked.
Regarding the bodyslam, I was thinking of something else, apparently.
The police choking him was only partial, however, if it even caused any obstruction at all.

Excuse me, I forgot about the Miranda rights, though I doubt they were actually arrested.
Either way, they should have done that, and were wrong by not doing so.

That is the guy.
He specifically stated that he was inviting people to an act of civil disobedience.
Which is illegal.

Alright, then what was the grounds for arrest?
If it's within your rights, police can't tell you to stop.

They were actually arrested and released later.

It wasn't within their rights, though.
The court had recently passed a law that made it illegal to dance there, among other places.
They were actually arrested and released later.
Refer to what Bisjac said.
