From what I've read of the thread thus far, you came in with metaphorical guns blazing and just insulted first the thread itself, then anyone who replied to your initial insults.
If someone takes maybe an hour of an evening where they happen to have nothing to do, to use a non-addictive drug, usually they'll be completly fine for whatever they must do the next day, therefore drug use won't make responsible people any more useless.

Let's look at your points you've brought up shall we?

• Marijuana facilitates higher thought and aids in philosophical development.

FALSE: There isn't a single respected philosophy that was conjured as a result of marijuana abuse.

• Marijuana stimulates creativity.

FALSE: Not a single major piece of artwork or literature was inspired by marijuana.

• Hemp provides a clean alternative to polyester.

INCONSEQUENTIAL: Polyester and the like will not be replaced for a long time, and if it's ever replaced, it will be by something cheaper.

• Marijuana abuse has no real consequences.

FALSE: http://www.drugabuse.gov/infofacts/marijuana.html , the only rebuttal to this is that there's a big conspiracy theory where the American government doesn't allow us to use harmless drugs even though it would be beneficial to the economy.

I tried it, personally I didn't like the expirence all that much, because well, I appreciate my ability to think, but I don't want it to stay illegal.
I don't try to say it has 'benifits', however even the 'harmful effects' listed on that website don't seem terriable, I mean, the government could still make money by legalizing it, and like I just said, people can be responsible with it.

Haha, you're dumb, I didn't make the thread. Also, Marijuana is supposed to keep people happy and open-minded, but when people come in and start spewing their bigotry it kills the mood.

Also, from what I could tell from Meeses, pot inspires more abstract higher thinking about slightly lesser debated subjects and problems. There is barely any negative consequences to outweigh the many mental and physical benefits of Marijuana.
