Extreme:
Quote
Adjective: Reaching a high or the highest degree; very great: "extreme cold".

Meaning, I smoked a lot of weed at one time, not over a long period.

Well you can't really contradict the work that's been looked over several times and is generally accepted by the medical community now can you?

What was I trying to contradict that's generally accepted by the medical community?

You take an "extreme" dose, which is not extreme in any manner, just more than needed for you average high. The effects get much heavier, and it's almost like a completely different high. Just because you smoke a lot in one session doesn't mean your addicted. However, we'll never know unless we probably know him in real life and break down his life

In a nutshell, drugs are for sadsacks who have nothing to do with their lives but wish they could be useful and have to chemically induce themselves into thinking they're happy and actually end up more or less ruining their lives. Idiots, basically.
What a dumb person. Ignored everything I said in the OP and went right ahead and made a really handicapped post. Congratulations.

To everyone else: Stop arguing philosophical ideologies about why someone does/should/shouldn't do drugs, this isn't the loving place. This thread is for intelligent discussion and Q&A, not richardwaving.

You said that doing an extreme dose, by whatever classification, gave you negative effects. If you do it too much in any way, you are addicted. If you do something even after it hurts you, you are addicted.

For all you posting negative effects as a reason for it to stay illegal, just remember that you support drugs like alchohol and nicotine being illegal too.

No, being addicted to something means you suffer withdrawal effects after stopping usage of a substance. You can't argue the meaning of "addicted" because it's scientifically set in stone.

that "negative" effect is what is generally strived for. You want to feel that difference

I didn't say it 'hurted', clumsiness can be fun when with friends, short-term memory loss doesn't really matter when you're with your friends the whole weekend, and I'm only agitated by the 'Afghan' strain. In either way, they're all 'effects' of the drug and are welcome when with friends.

sometimes i feel like saying "forget it" and smoking weed, but i'm way too young, and obtaining it would be crazy

i hope it gets legalized soon, no reason to keep it illegal

Derp, Yuki talking out his ass.

I'm not going to argue with anything in this topic, but I'd like to point out that I'd be fine with those 'drugs' being illegal.

the only drugs i would do are alcohol and weed. i can't say much about caffeine because it's basically impossible to avoid. i wouldn't go any further than weed, i've seen what cocaine does to people.

In my book, illegal substances=the bad kind of drugs

Those aren't illegal. I don't think nicotine should be legal. And 1 beer a day is actually good for you, as well as being used for cleaning, disinfecting, and harmless dishes.

short-term memory loss doesn't really matter when you're with your friends the whole weekend
That's another reason why it's bad for you, indirect consequences. Not remembering what you did 2 minutes ago isn't really a good thing, and it can get you into trouble both physically and legally.

All in all, I trust the scientific community and our government to make the right choices.
