Dude almost everyone smokes pot at least once.

Never have, never will.

A legitimate reason that I will never take pot, especially with music is because you'll depend on it or crave it for the full enjoyment of music, or almost any other art for that matter.

that, and the increased amounts of dopamine flood the receptors, effectively downing them and making it so you can't become naturally happy as easily

Wait what the forget.

Lemme go point by point through this stuff while I'm sober. I have literally done hundreds of hours of studying on the medical benefits and negatives of marijuana and other drugs. The reason I'm unable to actually talk to Aph about this is because he's not willing to listen. He's already got his mind set that marijuana is this awful thing, so there's no reasoning with him. I'm not offering nor forcing him to smoke cannabis, I've tried to discuss it with him, but he doesn't care what I have to say because I'm a burn out stoner who will never blah blah whatever. So forget that kid, not going to bother.

Dodger; where the forget did you get that half-baked information? That literally sounds like its out of a 1963 anti-marijuana ad. Adding cannabis to your listening experience allow you to experience different parts of the music that an untrained ear would not normally hear. Your audible receptors become more sensitive, so you hear it in a more "HD" way you could say. Your next experience listening to music won't be sub-par, because frankly, it doesn't do anything to your audible receptors. Marinuana raises your ears sensitivity a bit when you're high, but it doesn't prevent you from enjoying it sober. Not to mention, after you sober up, you pretty much forget what you heard, and so music just sounds the same, lol.

In regards to the dopamine; since I doubt you'll listen to me, you should read this thesis done by a real scientist who actually ran the tests.

hey it's like the flip of you
He's already got his mind set that marijuana is this infallibly perfect thing, so there's no reasoning with him.

While trying to find the specific study where shutdowns of receptors are mentioned, I also found this.

You're simulating hippocampal lesions by smoking pot.
Not only that, but both links say that the dopamine system is sped up.
Because of the rise in concentration of cannabis over the past ~30 years, the dopamine receptors go down and sometimes don't come back up. Hence my first statement.
I can first-hand confirm the truth of this, and I even think someone else did back when I originally posted this.
My dad's friend can barely become naturally happy anymore because she used to smoke pot regularly.

hey it's like the flip of you

Uh, that is not at all relevant to ANYTHING. like, not even in the slightest. You try so hard to troll. You gotta pick yo game up son.

And no, my mind isn't set that marijuana is this 'infallibly perfect thing' because its not. It has negative effects on you. It cant be perfect. Nothing is perfect.

inb4you or visage say that you're perfect.

Lolwhat
no

I know people from the 70's who quit pot but still somewhat miss it cause it made the stuff they expierenced better than sober apparently, and that's when it wasn't as concentrated.

well you certainly do your best to play up the positives and downplay the negatives

pot denial lmfao

AND ONCE AGAIN Boltster is everywhere

Serious question.
Can 2 hits (weed) show up on a drug test if its been about 8 days and nothing more has been smoked? My cousin wanted me to try smoking with him and I did and I need to pass my dads drug test Tuesday.

so I bought a grinder the other day, its really nice 4 piece diamond grind. I bought it at the local headshop, the shakedown shack, where I was stupid and payed with my card cause I didn't have enough cash. My mom works at the bank and saw that I bought something from there, so my parents now officially know about my pot smoking. They mostly just said stuff about how they don't want me doing it but if I insist on doing it I have to be smart about it.

but anyway I love the kief compartment, I just sprinkled a little on my bowl and I feel amazing right now.
Gonna just listen to some Floyd and chill right now.

They're bound to find out eventually. Better this way than a ticket or an arrest.

Anyway, a little tip; your best friend for kief is the flap on a pack of rolling papers. Allows you to spread it evenly.

First link: what? There's three synaptic cells in those pictures, that's just.. that's not how nerve cells connect. There's a presynaptic and postsynaptic nerve, no mid-synaptic nerves.

Second link: alright? So, you're temporarily 'lesioning' your hippocampus. I don't see your point.

I can't roll joints for stuff, I can do blunts, but they're so time consuming.
I just like bowls cause you just throw the stuff in and light it up.
