To take your current conclusion to the extreme, if the act of moving at a speed faster than walking was outlawed would you still run at times? Of course you would. Just because a law is written does not mean that it's right. In fact, outlawing substances can be more detrimental than good because buying stuff off of the streets can lead to a decrease in purity/incorrect dosage/etc (though not paying taxes is always nice). If you use discretion and aren't harming anyone else, there is no reason why recreational drugs are a problem. Following things blindly is /not/ the way to live life.

No, they aren't. Drugs are inanimate, they do not carry any sort of ethical responsibility, they don't do anything without human intervention. Drugs help millions around the world every day, and almost every single person on the planet has used a drug at one time or another. Remember: Use, not abuse.

No, we're not. This is a dumb argument. Using drugs is not morally corrupt, but letting them take over your life most definitely is.

That's fine, but don't argue your insecurities here. This is a thread of knowledge, not grounds for opinions on why it is ethically detrimental to smoke weed or whatever. If you have a question, ask it, but don't come in here picking fights and calling people "stoners". Do that in a PM or some bullstuff.

Everything will kill you, get over it. You've got 100 years on this earth at BEST, so enjoy it, even if it means getting injured, make sure you regret doing stupid things, that's a life well lived. But anyway, no philosophical arguments here..

I never said that drugs are bad. I never called a drug user a 'stoner' or bad. I never said that I didn't want to do drugs. I never said that drugs will kill you. I am not posting "Ignorant Anti-Drug Retorts".

They asked you to leave a thread that is based on pro-substance-abuse stance because you made a anti-drug remark.  The thread does not discuss whether drugs are bad or not.  They are simply discussing drugs.  You seem to be replacing Blocklandian pretty well.

You don't understand. I am not against drugs, nor have I ever said I am against drugs. I am stating the fact that it is illegal. That isn't being against drugs.

I could say I like hockey and then say "Hockey is dangerous". That's not being anti-hockey.

Drugs being illegal is 'general information' as said in the topic's title so I am contributing to the topic. Others may think I am taking away from the thread, but all I am doing is stating facts.
