Sure it could, but I call this idiocy because there usually no real reason behind joining the anti-pony act. But thats just me, I've only been here for two days now and I haven't had too much exposure as to what goes on. For all I know you have a good reason to have your crusade against the bronies of BL forums. Do they spam everywhere? are they intentionally intrusive in other threads? I don't know.
Other than that, if someone actually tried watching it instead of just outright denying it because they think that other people might think poorly of them (OH NOES) and ended up disliking it I completely understand. Alas even if they thought poorly of it afterwards, that wouldn't really be a good reason to just start hating it.
In the end we all have our opinions and ideas, and they are usually biased without even knowing it. I plan to stand my ground where I see fit, and I assume you will do the same, so there is no sense in arguing over it. Just wanted to write that.
