EDIT: the second time:

All the time when the radio was on, I was standing there, next to the door. I saw an outline, very hard to see, of a man come to my door: Andy Walls was his name. He broke the door, I swung a hammer, it went through him, or I missed or something, he said: *Something* Neighbor then i jumped, to the left of the door, swung again, and heshot me, square betweent the eyes. Next time, man who's name changes every time( I think). NEXT TIME!

So, I'm in the 4th floor of the apartment complex, and I had to barricade myself in here. I was followed by the zombie horde, and it seems they are going floor by floor. I've heard them pounding on doors for days now.

Nop. If you downloaded the broken steel DLC you survive, the blonde girl survives, and anyone companions you had survive, whether you were inside the purifier thing or outside.
