Author Topic: My hand is killing me.  (Read 1388 times)

25 minutes ago, I was trying to open my laptop then I heard this loud snap in my fingers and wrist. I just thought it was nothing and proceeded to turn on the computer. Then I felt this horrible pain go through my hand. I don't think it's broken or anything like that. It might just be my disease flaring up.

But it hurts like hell, I would use icy-hot but I can't find it.

Whatdo?

Get off the internet maybe?

Best idea ever.

Was the laptop hard to open?

How was the snapping sound? Is it like the sound of cracking a knuckle or breaking it?

Is it joint pain or bone pain? Joint is probably JRA, bones might be a sprain from moving in the "wrong" way.

Stop fapping?

Serious note: Rest it.

It was the same sound my back makes after sitting for a while. It was like Crrrrrrrrrtchhhh.

Rest your hand?
I am. I'm only typing with the hand that doesn't hurt.

I know it's probably the JRA.

But I'm looking for a solution to make it stop hurting, not why it's hurting.

Carpal Tunnel?
Carpal Tunnel is when you are pinching the nerve on your wrist for long periods of time.

What happened here is him cracking a joint he barely to never has cracked in his life. Since he isnt use to such action/movement, it was painful. He will be fine after a while, just add a bag of frozen peas on it if it still hurts but you will be fine

never really understood what that was but I knew it was something with wrist pain

I hope nothing broke. If you suspect anything has broken, go to a doctor immediately, because I've been told countless times you have a medical condition. Cancer can cause bones anywhere to break easily if it is. My little cousin was diagnosed with cancer after easily breaking both his legs when they shouldn't have.

I may be overreacting a little or making things sound negative, I don't know if I'm wrong or not. I just hate to see people get cancer.

What type of medical history have you had? I'm not really caught up with that.

It may have broken one of the bones near the base of your hand (wrist).
You should put something cold on it, just fill a zip lock baggie with icecubes.
