That's not deja vu, that's your dreams awakening in you a want for whatever was in your dream.
Like how watching a review for a game makes you want to play said game.

if you dreamed your friend gave you a "treat" in reading, then in the day following your friend gave you a "treat" in reading, that'd be déjà vu
