So, I connect to DrenDran's Salvage server and it seems like a good server.  Aside from the rampaging of a few children running around with guns, but I was able to avoid that.  So it was in ACM city and I took refuge in the little brown shop on the edge of town.  So I have a pretty good place, and I defend it with my heart.  But then DrenDran decided he should go AFK, and that is when things started getting out of hand.  Core, running around, going into peoples (including mine) bases, shooting them and looting them.

So about 20 minutes after DrenDran went AFK, none other than good ol' Core came into my base, shortly after I finally got my hands on a checkpoint and placed it, and touched my checkpoint.  Without me knowing of course.  So as I am improving the first level of my base, core is upstairs healing my checkpoint so I couldn't destroy it.  He healed it up to about 400-450.

So when I finished my first floor, I came up to check on my gun spawns and such and what did I find?  The little rat increasing the health of my checkpoint.  So I killed him, repeatedly actually, and when I realized that he wouldn't stop, I asked him "Core, please get out the front door."

But of course, instead of leaving, he just looked at me and continued to repair.  So I killed him a few more times. 

By now, some of you are wondering, who is this "captain jordan" character and where does he fit in to all this?  Well this is when he popped in the story by saying "core it looks like you have a spawnkiller on your hands"

Core didn't reply for he was still healing and I was killing.

Then core says "Socky, why are you such an abusive friend?"

I ignored him and then a few other people came into my base.  Some guy named "AverageJoe" came into my base and guess what he does?  HE STEPS ON MY CHECKPOINT!  So, I try to let him go free, and he does, without me even asking.  But still, Core is healing away.  So then captain jordan comes in and kills me with a default gun, I respawn, kills me again.  Then I scurry away to the bathroom where someone made a hole in the roof and escape onto the green mountain thing next to the house.

Core, of course, leaves the house and follows me, steals my bow and arrow spawn and nonetheless he steps upon my checkpoint.  Healing away.  This is when I disconnect and, here I am.

First of all, this topic's name is incorrect. I highly dislike "captain jordan".
The only reason he helped me is because you were constantly shooting the gun at the checkpoint, which resulted in about 52 spawnkillings.

Second, that "little brown shop" you so innocently were using was the exact same house that you invaded while I, Crown, and Plant were living in.

As for the whole checkpoint thing, that's a big, fat lie. Though I have no pictures (and neither do you, for that matter), you shot me three times the second I stepped on the checkpoint. I began healing the brick to show you that you were not going to keep me out of the base you so innocently stole.

I'm not sure why you're acting like "AverageJoe" was no big deal, considering that when he walked into the "little brown shop" he was dressed as naked wearing a rapeface.

Also, the "someone" who made the hole in the roof of that bathroom was you, when you stole the weapons we had stored in there.

Lastly, was I supposed to believe you would leave me alone when you established yourself so nearby? No, I was chasing you away. Otherwise, you would simply attack again.

Either way, the answer is clear: Dren needs to completely remove checkpoint support from Salvage until it can be made functional in the least abusive way. All it does is create portals by which the most obnoxious fights form. As someone else suggested, checkpoints should only work for the person who planted it.

i just camped out on the curch roof, fortified the only entrance up to like 200 health, fortified most of the bricks on it, and i had a gun spawn and a light and a basher.
