Author Topic: My Dog got Mauled by a Pit Bull. :c  (Read 1843 times)

We took a trip down to Phoenix and stayed with these friends of my mom. They have this viscous pit bull that kills any animal in sight (Seriously, they find a dead cat in their yard like once every few months and he's killed like so many other people's pets.)

They put him in the guest house so that my dog could go outside, but after a few minutes, the drunken loving idiot owner let the God-damned dog out and it ran strait to my dog and grabbed him on the neck and started flinging him around like a ragdoll. All five or six of us were grabbing the jaws of him trying to get him to stop killing my dog. One guy had to punch it like 5 times to get him to stop.

We grabbed him, put a towel around his body, and took him to an animal emergency hospital and he's doing okay now. He's still suffering from extreme blood loss and a bunch of other things, though. The doctor said he just barely skimmed his Jugular vein, so he didn't loose too much blood.

He has ripped skin all around his neck, and individual tooth holes all over his chest and legs. I think one of his ribs is broken and his right paw is for sure broken.

Should I post pics of him? Would this get me banned or something because of how hurt he is?

They should have put the pitbull down after it killed it's 2nd thing, IF NOT IT'S FIRST.

I think I read the topic title wrong

report him to animal control or something, shiiiit.

Sue the owner of the Pit Bull.

Ouch. You should really see if there's anything that you can do about that dog. Pitbulls are usually only violent when someone makes them violent...soo...

Damn it, put that damn dog down, there is no use in keeping him.

BUT, Cesar Millan said that no dog is worthy of being put down, it's the owners fault. :c

Shoot the pit bull.  :cookieMonster:
That is what I told my dad if I ever see one in my house,he laughed and got serious and then he started laughing again.
I hunt with dogs which I find funny.

A euthanasia shot is quicker and more effective in making that dog non-violent.

pfft pitbulls aren't nothing

He's fantastic with humans, but the second he sees an animal, he goes ape-stuff.
EDIT: So srsly, should I post pics of his "good side"? (He is sitting with the bad side down, and we can't touch him or he bites us.)

Usually I wouldn't agree with putting an animal down, but in this case I believe it should be done.

"these dogs are pusillanimous individualcats compared to the ones in prypiat"
