In a zombie killing server with latency, Uno tried explaining how using 1x1x5s were better than using 1x12x5s, also stating that "im trying to reduce lag" by doing so. Also he claimed that this added "detail", which I've never heard of with "spam" bricks.

Basically what had went down in a short sweet paragraph.
He bitches about 1x1x5 Bricks being spammy.
But not 1x2x1 bricks...

He basically skipped the whole beginning of the arguement.
he said my builds were spammy, so I asked him which ones.
He showed me.
I said.. Well if using 1x1x5 bricks is spammy.. Why don't you bitch about the brick wall buildings made out of 1x2x1's...
He completely dismisses my question.. saying something like 'Thats not the same thing'
He thinks that I don't understand that 1x12x5 bricks are less laggy, but if his computer can't handle a few bricks, then why the forget does he play blockland?
I used the 1x1x5's on only two buildings, and they were supposed to look like that, its not like I was like "Herp derp, Ima make some random ass stuff for no reason.. Oh I know! lets use the lowest caliber of bricks possible!"

I'm going to assume that the 1x2x1s were making a brick pattern. That's okay, if done right. 1x1x5s are ugly as stuff 100.02% of the time, and generally it wont make massive lag, but it isnt going to 'fix lag' in any way at all.

I wasn't really trying to "fix lag" I was trying to reduce it a bit. Because almost every other building in the area was brick.
It was actually more just to mix things up so that every building wasn't brick.
Infact one of the 1x1x5 buildings is wood.

Again, vertical is ugly as stuff. His smaller bricks were likely to create a specific pattern, where as yours were only creating an illogical, uncommon structure looking... blah...
