One time, I saw in image on the internet of some experiment where some scientists cut off a dog's head and kept it a live for several minutes with a machine. I had a nightmare after that about the same dog, only he had his body back, but there was nothing left of it but a bloody skeleton, and somehow the thing still managed to throw up all the time.
So I was afraid of that I guess.
EDIT: And yes, it was still alive in it's skeleton form.
