Inventory icons of various items as a resource for modders

I got his idea from Wicked's RPG. He has screenshots of an inventory GUI with icons for the items. Everyone knows how there are always tons of items in RPG but some of them just can't physically be in Blockland due to various limitations. So instead of just saying "You filled your bucket with water!" and then having to check your inventory with some slash command only to see "Bucket of Water" in the list, why not have an icon for it? I can do some blocko modeling but getting all those models as functional in-game items is quite the job. But I am quite sure that many modders out there would be more than happy to just have images of said models as inventory icons. Anything is better than just text representing an item.

This is all brainstorming still. Thoughts?
